letting go of hate

Interrupting the August break, lol that didn't take long.

"Any person capable of angering you becomes your master; he can anger you only when you permit yourself to be disturbed by him."
Epictetus

I read this last night, and have been thinking of it since. There is only 1 person in my life this applies to. And I have decided this quote is so true. I now need to find a way to let the resentment go. I am not being selfish in my dislike for him; I don't care what he has done to me. I do care how he treated the people I love. I am coming up on a year of hate for him...and I truly want to be able to let it go.
I need to find my way...and a solution.

  1. Deciding that you want to let go of the hate is the first step to being able to do that. I carried some hatred within me for a very long time...and I know that once I let it go (and it wasn't easy) I felt so much better. No one is worth keeping you prisoner to emotion that is negative and harmful to you. I know you'll do this. ♥
