WAY OUT OF MY BOX

Well, yesterday I was struck with an idea, my muse was screaming at me to pay attention.  I did.  She was taking me way out of my comfort zone....but you know what, it was fun.  This just came together and I am not sure if I will sell it or not, not a very cohesive piece in my shop!?!  But she may make her way there, we shall see.  Now for sale: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=40715374
I used an old spool and covered it with batting and seam binding.  Next some rusty wire and of course, some jewels.  This is one of the doll heads I have remaining from the lot of doll parts I found last year.  So here is the new assemblage, "hey Doll face".

Sidenote:  I wish you could have seen my husbands face when I showed this to him this morning, priceless... lol

  6. I dig it. I mean granted it scares me a little bit but its like a very cool voodoo doll for somebody who is a seamstress, or... seamster (not to be sexist). It looks vaguely french. Diggable.
