ONE STEP AT A TIME

Well, here it is beginning of day 4. Wow day 4, and no regret's. LOL, this is huge for me.
Could it be that I am finally ready to do this? My negative wandering mind tells me, "No, you will soon start to fail, and go back into the poor me mode". I have not felt cheated, wanting to be bad, nothing but doing it right. I have logged all my meals and snacks into the Points Tracker, made good choices, stayed with in my points…I know, I know, it has only been 4 days. I might be singing a different tune next week, or tomorrow. One thing my anxiety has taught me is to try to live in the moment, and take ONE STEP AT A TIME. I am doing that today....

  3. I have had 3 hard days, today was number 3. I am searching for food...this is not a good sign. I just got off the phone with my daughter Jenny, a very good cheerleader for her Mom. Her advice was to stop...start over, it is no big deal as long as you keep your eye on the goal. So here I am telling you, there will be hard days, but I am getting back on the horse...I am ready to continue the ride. You are doing good, you can do this too. One day at a time, you may find a bad day or two or three, but we will and can do this.
    Hugs, Mary

  4. I love this photograph Kathy. Now, as with anything that is important in life, it is one day at a time. No expectations, no pressures, no self-flagellation -- life is too short to punish ourselves all the time. Day 4 is good. Be proud of day 4. If day 7 is a slop, so it's a flop...but remember that you had that many great days before it. Change is hard, creating new patterns is hard. No need to punish ourselves as we go through it. Take pride in what you have accomplished each day! ♥

  6. Kathy...you can do it!! I really think that if you make wise food choices, the Weight Watcher point system doesn't leave you feeling hungry. Weight Watchers is my everyday way of food/life. I never feel hungry.

I'm about 5' 5". My weight fluctuates between 128 and 144, believe it or not. But my weight doesn't go up because I eat more....it goes up when I fall off of my morning walking schedule. My weight is up right now, but I'm back to my walking, so I'm hopeful that by summer, I'll be back down to my happy 128.

If you ever want any of my recipes or ideas...feel free to ask. I've been living by WW for years.

Keep posting about it, that will help you to feel "accountable". ;)

    All the luck:

  7. You sound very determined! Good luck with the weight loss, you are an inspiration!
(It can be so hard....I have found that as long as I am exercising, it helps to keep me in that mode.)
