building houses, sort of...

I have moved on to canvas's... I got nice and messy, it was much fun.  Here is what I came up with so far...

I am not sure which I enjoy more, the making of the background, or the layers of paper and the end result.  It is funny, in a way, we layer on so much texture for the background, and most of it is covered up, odd huh?
I have 4 more on the table, waiting to see which direction I would like to go in...we shall see.
